compelling - kəmˈpelɪŋ - that makes you pay attention to it because it is so interesting and exciting
Example: Her latest book makes compelling reading.

drawback - ˈdrɔːbæk - a disadvantage or problem that makes sth a less attractive idea
Example: The main drawback to it is the cost.
